Concentrate disinfectant, biocide, sanitiser chemical. · Material is mixed and used in
accordance with manufacturers directions. Keep out of reach of children.
"trichloro isocyanurate tablets", microbiocide
Contact with combustible material may cause fire.
Contact with acids liberates toxic gas.
Harmful by inhalation and if swallowed.
Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.
Dangerous for the ozone layer.
Very toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long- term adverse effects in the
aquatic environment.
Accidental ingestion of the material may be harmful; animal experiments indicate that ingestion of less than 150 gram may be fatal or may produce serious damage to the health of the individual. Considered an unlikely route of entry in commercial/industrial environments. Ingestion may result in nausea, abdominal irritation, pain and vomiting.
This material can cause eye irritation and damage in some persons.
This material can cause inflammation of the skin oncontact in some persons. Skin contact is not thought to have harmful health effects, however the material may still produce health damage following entry through wounds, lesions or abrasions. Solution of material in moisture on the skin, or perspiration, may markedly increase skin corrosion and accelerate tissue destruction.
If inhaled, this material can irritate the throat andlungs of some persons. Not normally a hazard due to non-volatile nature of product. Acute effects from inhalation of high vapor concentrations may be chest and nasal irritation with coughing, sneezing, headache and even nausea.
Primary route of exposure is usually by skin contact/eye contact, inhalation of vapor given off by material that has become wet or damp and inhalation of generated dust. Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause drying with cracking, irritation and possible dermatitis following. As with any chemical product, contact with unprotected bare skin; inhalation of vapor, mist or dust in work place atmosphere; or ingestion in any form, should be avoided by observing good occupational work practice.
