Causes severe burns.
Risk of serious damage to eyes.
Toxic to aquatic organisms.
The material can produce severe chemical burns within the oral cavity and gastrointestinal tract following ingestion. Considered an unlikely route of entry in commercial/industrial environments.
The material can produce severe chemical burns to the eye following direct contact. Vapors or mists may be extremely irritating. If applied to the eyes, this material causes severe eye damage.
The material can produce severe chemical burns following direct contactwith the skin.
If inhaled, this material can irritate the throat andlungs of some persons. Not normally a hazard due to non-volatile nature of product.
There is some evidence that inhaling this product is more likely to cause a sensitization reaction in some persons compared to the general population.
Principal routes of exposure are usually by skin contact/absorption of the liquid and inhalation of vapor/spray mist. One ingredient of the product has caused skin sensitization reactions, shown as localized reddening and hives, or may produce respiratory sensitization characterized by asthma- like symptoms and runny nose. Prolonged skin contact may result in irritation, rash, which may develop to dermatitis. Ingestion may result in nausea and vomiting. Vomitus may be foamy. Aspiration of vomitus may cause chemical pneumonitis.
