meaty, hearty flavour when added to sauces and gravies. It adds zest to salad dressings,

Considered an unlikely route of entry in commercial/industrial environments. Use as a food additive indicates good tolerance of small amounts, but excessive amounts or overuse may bring irritant and / or harmful effects.
Inhalation of vapor is more likely at higher than normal temperatures.
Indicators are that short term exposure to the material by all routesis not harmful. Principal routes of exposure are usually by ingestion and skin contact/eye contact with the material.
