PRODUCT USE

To enhance flavour of foods such as soups, poultry, vegetables and seafoods. It provides a
meaty, hearty flavour when added to sauces and gravies. It adds zest to salad dressings,
mustards and other condiments.

  Considered an unlikely route of entry in commercial/industrial environments.  Use as a food additive indicates good tolerance of small amounts, but excessive amounts or overuse may bring irritant and / or harmful effects.

  Inhalation of vapor is more likely at higher than normal temperatures.  

CHRONIC HEALTH EFFECTS

  Indicators are that short term exposure to the material by all routesis not harmful.  Principal routes of exposure are usually by ingestion and skin contact/eye contact with the material.  As with any chemical product, contact with unprotected bare skin; inhalation of vapor, mist or dust in work place atmosphere; or ingestion in any form, should be avoided by observing good occupational work practice.
